The Education Robot is a fully functional 6-axis articulated robot that can be moved and programmed like a real industrial robot. It consists of around 950 parts, has a reach of approx. 330 mm, and can be operated via the igus Robot Control (iRC). The motors for all six axes enable realistic kinematic movements. The weight is approx. 1.3 kg + approx. 0.6 kg for the accessory set.

Programming is done via the igus Robot Control, allowing the robot to be programmed like a real industrial robot. Additionally, the robot supports “offline programming” through the simulation mode of the iRC. The connection works via USB cable.
